Swedish indie act Stranded Mermaid has brilliantly created a unique soundscape related to such artists as Lana del Rey, Lykke Li, and Highasakite. Coming from the music bands ”I don’t speak french” and ”Swedish Red Elephant,” the front singer Louise Lindenger brings Stranded Mermaid into a darker pop milieu.

On October 23, Stranded Mermaid releases a new Indie track, 'Know Ya.' Mixing folk and western elements, epic indie textures, and dreamy vocals, Swedish act Stranded Mermaid has created a unique soundscape related to artists like Lana del Rey, Lykke Li, and Highasakite. 'Know Ya' is about having a fascination and a specific connection with someone that you really don’t know. The sound is a smooth mixture of indie vocals, western guitars, and ethnic details, mashed up in a wet and gritty landscape.
